BLORA (SUARABARU.ID)– Hal yang wajib saat berkunjung ke Blora adalah mencicipi menu kulinernya. Salah satu menu paling terkenal adalah sate. Sate ayam dan sate kambing merupakan makanan khas yang paling dicari wisatawan.
Namun tidak ada salahnya mencoba sate kalkun, yang rasanya lebih mantap, lebih maknyus dibandingkan jenis sate lainnya.
Keluk Pristiwahana alias Kelok, merupakan salah satu pengusaha rumah makan dengan olahan daging kalkun. Pada 2016 lalu, dirinya mulai membuka Rumah Kalkun di Jalan Raya Blora-Tunjungan Km 5, Kecamatan Tunjungan.

Menu andalan di rumah makan ini yaitu sate kalkun. Dengan bumbu khas yang diolah Umi, istri Kelok, sate ini berbeda dengan sate-sate lainnya.
Hal ini terlihat dari tekstur daging yang tebal dan bumbu kecapnya serta tambahan varian, seperti irisan bawang merah, cabe rawit dan tomat, layaknya sate kambing.
”Saya sudah dari tahun 2016 membuka Rumah Kalkun ini, yaitu di Blora dan di Kabupaten Grobogan, tepatnya di Kecamatan Ngaringan,” kata Kelok.
Hanya saja yang di Ngaringan sudah tutup, selanjutnya mengembangkan di dua tempat di Blora, Tunjungan dan di Randublatung, jelasnya sembari melayani pelanggannya.
Cara membakar sate kalkun ini seperti sate lainnya. Potongan daging kalkun ini diiris dadu mirip sate kambing. Setelah itu dibakar di atas bara api hingga matang.
Sate kalkun ini teksturnya lebih lunak dibandingkan sate kambing. Ketika disantap dengan nasi yang masih panas, rasanya menjadi lebih mantap.
Untuk mencicipi sate kalkun ini, satu porsi berisi 10 tusuk dibanderol dengan harga Rp 45 ribu. Selain sate kalkun, terdapat menu lainnya yang tidak kalah mantap, yakni rica-rica kalkun.
”Saya sengaja pesan dua menu, sate kalkun dan rica-rica kalkun. Saat mencoba satu gigitan sate kalkun-nya, bikin ketagihan,” kata Ukki, pelanggan dari Grobogan.
Sedangkan untuk rica-ricanya, rasanya pedasnya terasa. Kalau dimakan dengan nasi yang masih hangat dan minumnya teh anget, jadi gembrobyos, kata Ukki.
Lain halnya dengan Tri, warga Semarang. Dia mengaku baru kali pertama mencoba sate kalkun dan kini ketagihan. Setiap datang ke Blora, dia selalu membelokkan mobilnya ke arah Jalan Tunjungan Raya.
”Saya sering pesan rica-ricanya. Bumbu rempah-rempahnya sangat terasa. Tidak bau amis tetapi harum, sangat pedas ditambah nasi hangat jadi lebih mantap pokoknya,” ujar Tri.
Bakso Kalkun
Selain dua menu andalannya, Kelok juga mengungkapkan, dirinya juga membuat menu baru, bakso kalkun. Bakso ini terbuat dari daging kalkun dengan ukuran sedang.
Untuk bakso kalkun ini dihidangkan dengan menggunakan mi. ”Kalau tiap sore, saya lebih sering menyantap bakso kalkun ini,” ujar Kelok.
Dia menambahkan, seluruh menu ini merupakan olahan sang istri, yang resepnya didapat dari almarhum ibu mertuanya. Hingga saat ini, Rumah Kalkun masih kerap dikunjungi masyarakat yang hendak menyantap menu kalkun sajiannya ini.
Selain membuka rumah makan, Kelok juga membuka peternakan khusus kalkun. Peternakan ini terletak di bagian belakang rumah makannya. Dikatakan dia, setiap satu ekor kalkun menghasilkan daging sebanyak lima kilogram.
”Kalkun ini juga banyak manfaatnya. Jadi yang hendak mencoba daging kalkun ini, jangan takut karena dagingnya masih aman, mengandung omega 3, asam folat dan juga nonkolesterol,” pungkas Kelok.
