SEMARANG (SUARABARU.ID) – Hasil survei Y-Publica pada 7-12 September 2024 menunjukkan, elektabilitas pasangan yang diusung oleh PDI Perjuangan, Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti dan Iswar Aminuddin, jauh mengungguli pasangan yang diusung oleh koalisi 13 partai, Yoyok Sukawi dan Joko Santoso.
“Elektabilitas Agustina-Iswar sebesar 35,4 persen, sementara Yoyok-Joko mendapat 29,7 persen. Namun, dinamika elektabilitas dua pasang kandidat masih bisa dinamis,” kata Direktur Eksekutif Y-Publica, Rudi Hartono, saat rilis survei, Senin 16 September 2024.
Rudi mengungkapkan, jumlah responden yang belum memutuskan pilihan masih sangat besar, yakni 30,2 persen. Sementara 4,7 responden menyatakan tidak tahu atau tidak menjawab.
“Sebagian besar undecided voters adalah kelas menengah dan terpelajar. Mereka belum memutuskan pilihan politik karena masih menunggu masa kampanye dan sosialisasi visi-misi kandidat,” katanya.
Menurut Rudi, karena jumlahnya yang cukup besar, yakni sepertiga dari pemilih, maka keberadaan undecided voters bisa menjadi kekuatan penentu hasil akhir Pilkada.
Lebih lanjut, Rudi menyampaikan, meskipun pengumuman Agustina – Iswar baru terjadi pada akhir Agustus lalu, namun awareness dan keterterimaan pasangan ini cukup tinggi.
“Ada 56,7 persen respon yang mengetahui Agustina-Iswar diusung oleh PDIP, sementara pasangan Yoyok-Joko diusung oleh 17 parpol diketahui oleh 55,6 persen. Tingkat persetujuan terhadap pasangan Agustina-Iswar 84,6 persen, sedangkan Yoyok-Joko 82,5 persen,” katanya.
Menurut Rudi, keberadaan mesin-mesin partai PDI Perjuangan menjadi kunci percepatan sosialisasi pasangan Agustina-Iswar ke akar rumput.
Terkait elektabilitas, Rudi menyebut sebagian besar responden memilih calon Walikota/Wakil Walikota karena alasan berpengalaman di pemerintahan (26,2 persen).
“Agustina meniti karir politik dari bawah, dari anggota DPRD kota Semarang, kemudian anggota DPRD Provinsi Jateng, lalu terpilih di DPR-RI. Sementara Iswar menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Daerah di pemkot Semarang saat ini,” katanya.
Faktor lain yang jadi alasan responden memilih calon adalah peduli pada rakyat (20,9 persen), bebas dari korupsi (17,4 persen), visi misi kandidat (10,8 persen), religius (6,7 persen), dan tidak menjawab sebesar 8 persen.
Selain faktor itu, Rudi juga menganggap pasangan Agustina-Iswar mendapat efek dari tingkat kepuasan publik (approval rating) terhadap kinerja Pemerintah Kota Semarang.
Untuk diketahui, approval rating terhadap kinerja Pemkot Semarang cukup tinggi, yakni 72,4 persen, hanya turun sedikit dari survei pada bulan Mei sebesar 77 persen.
“Jika approval rating petahana tinggi, maka itu memberi efek elektoral bagi orang separtainya atau orang di pemerintahannya yang maju sebagai kandidat,” katanya.
Untuk diketahui, survei Y-Publica Survei ini melibatkan 600 responden berusia 17 tahun ke atas atau sudah menikah. Sampel survei diambil menggunakan metode multistage random sampling yang diambil dari seluruh provinsi yang terdistribusi secara proporsional.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada 7-12 September 2024 menggunakan metode wawancara tatap muka (face to face). Toleransi kesalahan survei (margin of error) sebesar 4 persen dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95 persen.
