SEMARANG – PSIS Semarang resmi mendapatkan kiper yang selama paruh pertama Liga 1 ini memperkuat Arema FC, Joko Ribowo, mulai Senin (16/7). Joko Ribowo pun diproyeksi bisa langsung tampil saat Laskar Mahesa Jenar menjamu Persebaya Surabaya pada pekan ke-17 Liga 1 yang akan dilaksanakan di Stadion dr H Moch Soebroto, Minggu (22/7).
Yoyok Sukawi menambahkan, mantan pemain Mitra Kukar itu bisa bermain jika persyaratan sudah beres dan disetujui PT Liga Indonesia Baru sebagai pemain sah PSIS di kompetisi Liga 1. ”Secara resmi kami mendapatkan tanda tangan Joko Ribowo untuk bergabung bersama PSIS dengan status kontrak penuh selama semusim ini dari Arema FC. Saat datang Rabu mendatang dia akan menyelesaikan administrasi pendaftaran sebagai pemain PSIS dan mengurus segala hal terkait kepindahan Joko Ribowo dari klub asalnya,” ungkap Yoyok, kemarin.
Dia menjelaskan, sebenarnya kedatangan Joko satu paket dengan bek Arema FC Zainuri. Namun, mantan pemain tim Jawa Timur di Pra-PON XIX Jabar itu lebih memilih berlabuh ke Persela Lamongan. ”Sebenarnya kami deal satu paket Joko dan Zainuri dengan Arema FC. Namun, karena Zainuri punya pilihan lain, kami tidak melanjutkan proses negosiasi,” tandasnya.
Dengan masuknya Ribowo membuat stok kiper PSIS menjadi lima orang. Sebelumnya, ada Jandia Eka Putra, Aji Bayu Putra, Sendri Johansah, dan Satria Eka Putra.
