SEMARANG (SUARABARU.ID) – PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) mengusung Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti (Mbak Agustin) berpasangan dengan Iswar Aminuddin (Pak Iswar) untuk maju sebagai calon walikota dan wakil walikota Semarang pada Pilwakot 2024.
Sekretaris DPD PDI Perjuangan Jawa Tengah, Sumanto, yang ditemui wartawan Rabu malam 28 Agustus 2024 di Panti Marhaen Semarang mengakui bahwa Rekomendasi dari DPP PDI Perjuangan untuk pasangan Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar sudah turun.
“Ini adalah koalisi PDI Perjuangan bersama masyarakat,” ujar Sumanto yang juga ketua DPRD Jateng.
Pasangan Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar merupakan sosok yang sudah sangat dikenal masyarakat Kota Semarang.
Mbak Agustin adalah warga asli kelahiran Semarang yang tinggal di Banyumanik, sedangkan Pak Iswar saat terakhir menjabat sebagai Sekda Kota Semarang.
Rekam jejak Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar tidak diragukan lagi dalam hal kapasitas, kompetensi, visi-misi dan loyalitas pada warga Semarang.
Mbak Agustin, lahir di Semarang, 11 Agustus 1971, meniti karir politik di PDI Perjuangan, menjadi anggota DPRD Kota Semarang, DPRD Jawa Tengah dan hingga saat ini duduk sebagai Wakil Ketua Komisi X DPR RI.
Sebagai Bendahara DPD PDI Perjuangan Jawa Tengah, Mbak Agustin tidak diragukan lagi elan perjuangannya.
Kalangan masyarakat Semarang meyakini, pasangan Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar adalah pasangan terbaik bagi Kota Semarang.
“Kota Semarang telah mengalami kemajuan sangat pesat di bawah kepemimpinan terdahulu. Sehingga, dibutuhkan pemimpin yang mampu malanjutkan dan mendorong capaian kemajuan itu ke puncak yang lebih tinggi,” katanya.

Pengalaman Pak Iswar dalam kompetensi sebagai teknokrat dengan pemahaman mendalam tentang Pembangunan Kota Semarang sangat melengkapi duet walikota-wakil walikota membawa Semarang lebih berprestasi.
Sekretaris DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Semarang, Kadarlusman, menyatakan, PDI Perjuangan tidak sendirian karena didukung oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat.
Dengan kata lain, pada Pilwakot 2024, PDI Perjuangan bergandengan tangan dengan koalisi masyarakat untuk memenangkan Pilwakot Semarang 2024.
“Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar benar-benar mewakili sosok yang didambakan Kota Semarang, yang membutuhkan sosok visioner, dekat dengan semua kalangan, hangat, sekaligus memiliki keahlian mendalam,” ujar politisi yang biasa disapa Pilus ini.
Sebagai informasi, Mbak Agustin telah menyelesaikan Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Sejarah pada Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Diponegoro. Kecintaannya pada Kota Semarang antara lain terlihat dari keseriusan komitmen selama ini untuk memajukan pendidikan Kota Semarang melalui fasilitasi beasiswa Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) bagi ratusan ribu siswa SD dan SMP di Kota Semarang.
DPC PDI Perjuangan kota Semarang akan mendaftarkan pasangan Mbak Agustin-Pak Iswar ke Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Semarang pada Kamis siang 29 Agustus 2024.
Ribuan relawan akan mengiringi keberangkatan dari Kantor DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Semarang menuju KPU Kota Semarang.
