SEMARANG – Jelang berakhirnya kompetisi Liga 1 2018 pada 9 Desember, PSIS Semarang masih belum melakukan ancang-ancang untuk melakukan perpanjangan kontrak tim pelatih dan pemain yang sebagian besar selesai bulan depan. Durasi kerja sama yang dilakukan PSIS kepada Jafri Sastra sebagai head coach hingga pemain lokal seperti Hari Nur Yulianto dan pemain asing yang sedang naik daun, Bruno Silva, akan habis pad pengujung 2018. Hanya Aqsa Saniskara, Agung Fendi, Eka Febri (pemain kuota U-23), Joko Ribowo (pemain lokal senior) dan Ibrahim Conteh (pemain asing) yang dikontrak jangka panjang minimal dua tahun oleh manajemen klub berjuluk Laskar Mahesa Jenar itu. Kontrak Joko dan Conteh baru berakhir pada 2019.
Manajer Tim PSIS Setyo Agung Nugroho menyatakan pembicaraan perpanjangan kontrak belum dilakukan karena timnya ingin lebih fokus pada dua laga tersisa. Mahesa Jenar bakal menjamu Persipura Jayapura pada Sabtu (1/12)dan tandang ke markas Persebaya Surabaya, 8 Desember mendatang. ”Kami ingin selesaikan kompetisi ini dulu sebelum membahas soal kontrak tim musim depan. Sebab, untuk pembentukan tim rencananya baru kami lakukan setelah Liga 1 selesai. Yang utama ada pelatih dulu, setelah itu baru merekrut pemain,” jelas Agung, kemarin.
PSIS juga ingin menunggu rapor pelatih terkait evaluasi pemain selama Liga 1 bergulir. Laporan itu jadi patokan untuk memilih pemain yang akan dipertahankan atau dilepas. ”Pelatih akan membuat rapor. Isinya penilaian kinerja pemain seperti apa dan pemain yang patut direkomendasikan untuk dipertahankan musim depan siapa saja. Itu yang nanti dilaporkan ke manajemen dan menjadi pertimbangan kami dalam rapat sebelum membentuk tim untuk musim depan,” tuturnya.
Terkait belum adanya kejelasan masa depan, Jafri tak mau buru-buru memutuskan masa depannya. Dia mengamini harapan manajemen untuk berkonsentrasi menuntaskan kompetisi. Pelatih asal Payakumbuh ini punya peluang untuk dipertahankan. Sebab, Mahesa Jenar mampu bangkit dari zona merah di pertengahan musim dan memastikan satu slot di kompetisi Liga 1 musim depan. ”Kalau soal kontrak, saya masih punya tugas dua pertandingan lagi. Toh manajemen pasti sudah punya rencana seperti apa. Kalau saya menunggu saja,” ujar pelatih berusia 53 tahun itu. (rr)
