TIMIKA (SUARABARU.ID)– Tim Penerjun Beregu Jawa Tengah, hanya mampu meraih medali perunggu, dalam nomor Beregu Putra Ketepatan Mendarat, di ajang PON XX/Papua yang dipusatkan di Halaman Kantor Komplek Pemerintahan Kabupaten Mimika, Selasa,(12/10/2021).
Perunggu ini diraih Tim Beregu Jateng, setelah dihitung dari akumulasi dalam delapan babak. Secara total, tim penerjun Jateng mendapatkan ketepatan 1 meter 87 centimeter.
Di nomor ini, medali emas diraih Tim Beregu DKI Jakarta, dengan ketepatannya 1 meter 60 centimeter. Sedangkan perak direbut tuan rumah Papua (1 meter 66 centimeter).

Dalam nomor ini, para penerjun diterbangkan menggunakan pesawat hingga ketinggian 3.500 Feed. Tim Beregu Jateng dalam kesempatan ini menurunkan Petrus, Fatoni, Sutrisno dan Siswo.
Salah satu ofisial tim Jateng, Sudrajat mengatakan, dalam nomor ini saingan Jateng datang dari penerjun asal DKI Jakarta dan Papua.
”Kemampuan masing-masing penerjun sebenarnya merata. Kami bersyukur, Tim Beregu Jateng memperoleh medali perunggu,” kata dia usai lomba.

Menurutnya, para penerjun Jateng masih akan turun di nomor Perorangan Ketepatan Mendarat. Dia berharap, Jateng bisa mendapatkan satu medali emas, sesuai target pengurus terjun payung Jawa Tengah.
”Kami masih ada kesempatan untuk memperoleh satu medali emas dari cabang terjun payung di nomor Perorangan Ketepatan Mendarat. Kami minta doanya dari masyarakat Jawa Tengah, semoga target itu tercapai,” tukas Sudrajat.
