Quatly berharap pemerintah daerah bisa proaktif kunjungan lapangan terhadap siapa saja yang menjual, didatangi, ditanya, serta dibimbing dan dijelaskan terkait kesehatan hewan. Bahkan kalau perlu ada dokter hewan yang mendampingi dan mengecek hewan yang dijual.
“Tak hanya dinas yang turun mengedukasi masyarakat, dari sisi penjualpun juga jangan segan bertanya balik ke dinas. Kalau hubungan ini baik maka masyarakat tidak canggung bertanya karena penjual dan sohibul kurban (pembeli) jadi lebih baik, memang ini prosesnya panjang tapi ini untuk pelayanan ke depan yang lebih baik,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan (Disnak Keswan) Jateng, Lalu Muhammad Syafriadi, dalam acara dialog tersebut mengatakan, terkait pemotongan hewan pada saat kurban sebaiknya dilakukan di Rumah Potong Hewan (RPH), kalaupun harus di masjid maka wajib semua petugasnya menerapkan prokes dan menggunakan APD.
“Tahun ini 75 RPH se-Jateng sudah siap, termasuk ketersediaan hewan yang dikurbankan jumlahnya juga mencukupi. Tahun kemarin tempat penjualan hewan kurban secara keseluruhan ada 1.511, termasuk yang jualan dipinggir jalan. Di tahun 2020 hewan kurban ada sekira 401.000 ekor dengan rincian; kambing 234.505, sapi 92.000, domba 70.000, dan kerbau 2.800,” katanya.

Selama ini, Lalu menjelaskan, Disnak Keswan Jateng bersama Perhimpunan Dokter Hewan Jateng dan juga dinas dari Karesidenan/Kota yang membidangi peternakan hewan, terus melakukan pembinaan kepada para penjual hewan, utamanya dalam hal SKKH tersebut.
“Kami maunya tiap tahun ada edukasi sehingga ada kesadaran permanen, kami juga sudah sosialisasi dengan dinas di Kabupaten/Kota untuk turun sekaligus membawa alat untuk pengecekan hewan di tempat, tapi juga kami minta para penjual membawa surat keterangan asal hewan, karena ini penting untuk mengetahui sejarah hewan itu dari mana,” katanya.
